Magento Meetup Delhi NCR - Developers Meet Q1 2018

18th Technology witnessed a historical moment on 3rd Feb 2018 Saturday as it organized Delhi NCR’s first ever Magento Meetup sponsored by Magento®. 18th Technology keenly took this initiative and got immense support from Magento.
It was a knowledge sharing event that gave a platform to around 50 dignified personnel which included seasoned Magento developers, sales representatives, Project managers and enthusiasts. Magento paved its presence with an Indian foray in mid-2017, and soon 18th Technology became a premier Magento Professional Solution partner. The event inaugurated with CEO Mr. Abhishek Mathur’s (18th Technology) introductory speech outlining the session’s proceedings and the programme schedule. Then came a session from honorable spokesperson and Magneto’s representative for the meet- Mr. Vivek Raina, Enterprise sales manager- South Asia, with an invitation to the dais by the former.
Mr. Raina briefed about Magento’s growth trajectory and its exemplary contribution in the growth of businesses around the world. He talked about how Magento has transformed and reshaped the entire ecommerce industry and helped merchants worldwide to expand their business using this robust platform. His presentation included insights about Magento’s latest developments and revealed amazing benefits of Magento 2.2 version as he delineated all aspects of Magento’s new features and functionalities.
The streamlined checkout feature of Magento 2.2 which is bound to give competitive edge to clients was duly highlighted. Mr. Raina gave a glimpse of Magento’s global customer base and briefed about old and new functionalities of Magento as a product with the aim of addressing directional points for the developers. For the sales personnel, he demarcated case studies portraying how corporate giants like Canon Australia and Big Bus UK had benefited with adoption of Magento.
He wrapped up the session by offering audience the opportunity to unreservedly interact in the question and answer session that saw audiences’ enthusiasm to get their curiosity on Magento fulfilled. The queries ranged from the feasibility of Magento, upcoming functionalities, ease of deployment, and the importance of certifications for the developers. Mr. Vivek encouraged the community people to readily interact, post queries and suggestions on the Magento Community and also stressed upon the upcoming webinar session for the impartation of Magento B2B and the MCOM - Magento order management system. Further on, Mr. Abhishek Mathur acquainted the guests with various Magento powered certification programs and their significance in the industry ecosystem; as he brought about the closure of the formal session. The attendees got involved into a colloquial networking session and the community interactions concluded with a high tea and the scrumptious fruit cake.
